Itee Pootoogook, a leading Inuit artist, has died at the age of 63.
“This is a huge loss to Canada,” Robert Kardosh, director of the Marion Scott Gallery in Vancouver, said today in a news release.
The gallery represents Pootoogook in Vancouver. No other details were available.
